In your first meet, appearance is something that first comes into sight, whereas, personality is something that can make you naturally drawn to somebody. A personality is a group of traits that make you memorable in someone’s mind. Without personality, you would find that person boring and might not even bother to connect with him/her. Likewise, if you meet people who have nice and interesting personalities, you would be willing to make friends with them. When it comes to a brand, it works the same way.

Different brands sell the same service and item, but why you choose to buy it from a specific brand? Why you consider the item and service from this brand is better than the others? Sometimes, its price could be more expensive than other brands, but you still chose to go with it. Without realizing it, perhaps you have already been charmed by the personality of this brand and have become its loyal customer.

How to build a brand persona?

To appeal to consumers, a brand can build up its personality based on the five dimensions of human traits and characteristics revealed by Aaker (1997).

These dimensions have their traits and strengths. As a brand, it is vital to fall under one of the five categories with up to four adjectives that you want your brand to stand with. Also, the brand’s tones of voice in social media and communication strategy should follow these chosen characteristics to present a consistent brand personality.

What is next?

I understand it can be hard to find out the right persona, here are some related projects I have done. If you have any question or need any assistance, feel free to contact me.
